Our Mission
The mission of the FEDC is to improve the business environment and overall economic opportunity for Floresville through targeted business attraction, real estate development, community promotion, collaborative partnerships with business and develop the historical sites to improve tourism in the area.
What is the Floresville Economic Development Corporation?
The FEDC is a 4B sales tax corporation created in 1997, by the Floresville City Council and residents who recognized the need to set aside money to enhance Floresville’s business climate and overall economic development. The FEDC is responsible for promoting and funding community facilities and related projects throughout the city.

The FEDC makes available a wide variety of information to individuals seeking to start up a business, contact our office for a start-up kit. Coordination with the UTSA Small Development Center provides all the information you need to start your business. This includes an individual session with a representative to guide you through the process. To set up a consultation or receive information, contact us. Infrastructure Development
FEDC invests in real estate development to promote new business or expansion of existing business within the city. This includes build-to-suit, acquisition of property, and bearing the initial cost of installing water, sewer, street drainage, electric lines, curbing and paved roads to business sites. Business Promotion
FEDC, in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce, provides advertising, promotions, marketing, and public relations for business development initiatives. To receive more information, contact us.
State Coordination
FEDC will coordinate any requests for state funding available through the Texas Department of Economic Development or other State of Texas agencies for economic development.
